Tuesday, December 11, 2012 On December 11, 2012, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced its latest transportation grant from the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) – an $18.3 million grant to the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration (SHA) for the Maryland Route 185 (Connecticut Avenue) and Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway intersection project for improved access to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda.
