Responding to Closure/Realignment
This session will focus on how communities can adjust to BRAC downsizing that may include significant job loss with/without the base or facility real estate, impacts on the local housing market, and working with the local small businesses. Panelists will discuss effective coordination and integration of real time job data, placement, training, small businesses and other workforce resources with the broader economic development efforts that address diversification, job creation and housing.
